Hey guys,

Blak Dog in Coquitlam is having their inventory liquidated by Maynards. I was driving by there this morning and the big banner was up - perfect timing. Went in just as they opened and walked out with a Giant TCR1.

Unfortunately, some jackwad hummed and hawed over pedals for WAY too long and took the ones that I really wanted, so I ended up with a ghetto pair of SPD M505's, but they'll work fine regardless. Also got a pair of Pearl Izumi Tri-R2 shoes. Good to go, now.

There's still quite a bit left in terms of bikes, shoes, and clothing as of this writing. We'll see how long it lasts...

Just a head's up.

I saw the ad in the Georgia Straight, anything great worth making the drive out there? How much did you pick up the bike for, if you don't mind me asking?

There are still several road bikes and lots of clothes and crazy expensive helmets left. Not much in terms of accessories, though.

I got the bike for about 1400, pedals for about 40, and shoes for about 100, I believe. All of which I'm happy with.

I popped in there today to pick up a couple of tubes...none left, though.

Hey Mike - Congratulations. You're going to enjoy the ride to Horseshoe Bay more now.

Can anyone tell me if they have any track bikes? If there was a really good deal, I wouldn't pass it up. Catch is that I need a 47cm frame.

I didn't see anything that specialized....I could be wrong, but I also didn't see anything that small that I noticed. Sorry jen!

And yeah, the ride to HB should be a bit easier...I might only have to take the bus halfway back now!
