Thanks for the info... I might move the sensor to the rear wheel. If nothing else it will help me keep a constant speed on the trainer. I assume that the magnet on the wheel has to be placed a certain distance from the hub to make sure milage is accurate when on the road...Any thoughts on this? Sorry big noob here!!
It doesn't matter where the magnet is placed as long as it passes close enough to the pick-up to register. It is the size of the wheel which determines the speed so you have to make sure that the actual bike computer (readout ) is set to the correct tire size. This is usually something that's done during the initial setup. |
