This is going to be super fun! I can't wait to learn a little more about this team! I'm heading out for a ride in about 30 minutes. Good luck everyone! |

Regular 110 King George, VA | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread Hi! I'm Jeff (if you couldn't guess). I just finished my (personal) "Run every day in June" challenge, so I'm going to try for a "Ride each day of a TdF stage." As far as distance, I decided to divide each _real_ stage by ten, and then do that distance, but in miles - I know, kinda goofy. Anyway, that works out to 343 miles. Since I've been tri-ing, I've only hit 300 in a month three times, so this will be cool if I can make it! Good luck Team Sky!! |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread I'm Yanti. I'm an attention ho. I'm completely insane. That explains why I'm doing 15 stages, 16.5 hours. Okay, that's not a lot, but I that's more than the TOTAL riding I've done in the last year ... but it is Tour de Piglets time and I am ready to RIDE with my T.I.T.S. outside! Actually, I'll be on a trainer due to the concussion, but it just sounded good. SO SO SO SO happy to see a bunch of Crushers here (SKY CRUSHERS!!! sounds great) and the addition of wonderful piglets Casie, Jeff, and Chad. |

But I always knew that ... Shoot, I was supposed to pound an hour out, but I accidentally fell into disco clothes and leather strappy hooker heels and the next thing I knew I was at a club at midnight ... I'm gonna be screaming tomorrow. |

I also have a stealthy, fast black Felt TT bike named Raven. I'm so disappointed that Felt is not part of the peloton this year. |

Extreme Veteran 600 Melbourne | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread Yah! Hi everyone, a little late to the challenge, but I just ran a marathon today. The plan is to recover for the week and get back into cycling when (a) I get home back to my bike and (b) my quads stop screaming. The plan is to average 30mins on the bike for the second and third weeks of the tour, but I'll confirm later in the week.In the meantime I'll get back to the team time trial. |

On your right | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread Don't worry about being late to the party, Melissa, as I'm showing up even later than you. For those lucky enough to not know me already, I'm sorry that your day has now been ruined. Just look what knowing me has done to poor Yanti. She's now mocking marathoners for only running 26.2, and planning to swim a bit of water that's considered "unswimmable" in the near future. Anyhow. I'm in for 18 stages, 11.1 miles per stage, totaling ~200 miles. |

I'm in for 18 stages, 11.1 miles per stage, totaling ~200 miles. Hahaha dear sweet Chowder. It's so good to see you. Hey I was mocking marathoners long before you or even Casie showed up (mainly because I have a habit of getting lost on them, to the tune of running an ultra ... what? I don't get ultra cred for losing my way? BAH) Near future is 2013, I think. Also my recordbreaking swim piglet is really struggling with CFS so I may be on my own on this one. It's one scary piece of water, and that's when you're on a boat. He's tried twice and had to ditch. But I'm more buoyant, insulated, with better nutrition stores ( = fat) so that would all actually be a distinct advantage. |
