OWS at Canyon Saturday morning Aug 16

I have never swam there on a Sat morning (when there will be lots of boaters out and about), but a good place to swim is right after the first bridge.  You park off to the left, and walk down to the waters edge just north of the bridge.  Then you swim under the bridge back into the cove because the boats have to be no wake in there.  Just make SURE you wear a brightly colored cap, AND I really hope someone wants to go with you, because you should not be out there alone!!!  But yet......it will be cooler water.

I think AZ Tri swims thereon Saturdays, if its early enough the boaters won't be out yet (too early to start drinking and boating).

I would take my Kayak but I have an apointment in the Morning. I really like Canyon too.

Bummer, I totally would have come but hubby has his own ride tomorrow.  Let us know how it goes!

Sorry I missed your message. I wasn't able to get online last night. We were at my parents house and the computer is in the room my son's crib is in.  So I ended up going out there alone. It was good. I really enjoyed swimming in the wetsuit. The spot at Canyon is great for swimming. The water is cleaner and quite a bit cooler. Thanks Tanya, for informing me of the location.
