MI to WI?

I'm racing and the wife is spectating but probably wishing she was racing too.

Me and my husband are probably headed there Friday after work and leaving the Monday after. Not sure yet if we're volunteering or just spectating, but we're trying to work some training time in while we're there. I guess first I've gotta kick this cold that I have...grrr....

Are you going to sign up on Monday? I would love to go and spectate, but I don't want to make the drive by myself. Unfortunately, I have to teach class Monday morning, so that makes me a crappy passenger

At this point, I don't think we're signing up - but who knows?? I wouldn't count it out at this point. We're actually trying to carpool with some friends too, although if I'm not feeling better in the next day or two, we may have to scrap plans all together.

Were you trying to leave Sunday sometime during the race then to get back here by Monday a.m.?

Alaina, when are you headed down and when will you return?

I'd love to go, but  - anyone know a babysitter?? 

Ideally, I'd leave sometime Friday evening, then leave sometime during the race to get back Monday AM. I don't care that much about sleep, and I wish I could stay for the full race, but I've gotta be in front of a class Monday at 9am. I know it most likely won't workout out, but I'm trying!!
