Profile Edit & Hyperlinks

To answer #2, when you type in the website name, be sure to include the http://before it.  Like for my blog, I type in http://www.theironmountaineer.blogspot.com.  If you just do www., it won't take.

2. If you want to have something in your signature appear as a hyperlink like this:
   The Most Awesome Website in the Universe!, enclose the text you want to appear as a link in an MBBS url tag.
   

 It works when I click directly from the link you provided or the one I found when someone else asked a similar question.   I seem to remember that I used to be able to click into the profile page from the control panel or somewhere else.  I was just curious how I get there now (other than searching for this thread).  Is that link on my training log page or somewhere in my control panel? 

And I agree the 'two control panels' thing is annoying.   

Forum/General Site settings are configured from the Control Panel link on the upper left corner of any page under the site logo.

Training Log settings are configured from a link in the forum settings page, or from this image in your training log:

Oh, now that's even cooler.  So, I'm an HTML idiot.  I went to the MBBS url tag, but I just don't understand.  If I want my sig to read "Beginner Triathlete" but link to www.beginnertriathlete.com, how exactly do I type that in in the sig line?

To get this:

BeginnerTriathlete

Type this:

[ url=http://www.beginnertriathlete.com ]BeginnerTriathlete[ /url ]

but without the spaces inside the brackets.
