Subject: New in Seattle Hi, I am training for my first event in August (the Danskin Tri ) and I am so happy to have found this site. The training plans are really easy to read and the articles and advice are very positive (they give me hope! )
I am having some issues with transitioning from my inside club work outs (spin class, running on a treadmill ) to outside. When I run I just can't seem to control my breath and start getting side stitches and when I bike my knees start to hurt (nothing like that happens in the class I take so maybe it is my bike... )and am wondering if its just me or have other people had this same problem. I can do an hour spin class and run 3 miles on a treadmill no problem (maybe I can convince Danskin they should move inside )
Would like to get together with another beginner to train if anyone is in the north seattle area wanting the same let me know. |
