What are your thoughts on this drink?  I got it a couple years ago on my way to class one day cause I was thirsty and there wasn't any cold water in the little store's fridge.  It tastes great, but I don't know if it's good to drink like you would regular water since it's supposed to have electrolytes in it.

Opinions, thoughts, reviews??

Personally, I think it's a marketing gimmick.  Regular water suits me just fine.

Smart water is not sweetened. Has electrolytes in it but no sugars or fake sugars

I think you are thinking of Vitamin water

Electrolytes are overrated.  If you eat well then you don't need to worry about them, unless you're working out in very hot conditions or for a very long duration, and even then sodium is the major consideration.

Drink water, or choose a drink that tastes good and meets your caloric needs (which you should figure out) while training/racing.  Just my personal, somewhat well-educated opinion.

If your truly refering to the Vitamin Water, they have the "10" calorie serving bottles that are great. They use the natural sweetner Stevia, which I feel much better consuming than aspertame or high doses of regular sugar. Im definitely advocate of the pure H20 most of the time, but you have to curb that flavor craving. The lemonade is delish.

SmartWater is some of the best bottled H20, imo. Plus they have great reusable bottles similar to a bike water bottle

Vitamin Water 10 also uses crystaline fructose, which has a bunch of debate around it. Google it for the opinions if you want - it's pretty interesting.

Your right I was thinking vitamin water. I do agree tho that smart water has the best reusable bottles. so imo buy 3 smart waters then a britta filter probably less cost this way.
