I'll be there, good luck. This one seems fun with all the bands. The course is expected to be fast.

I am doing it too...not sure what to expect for this...would like to do better than my previous 2 1/2's...but just not sure!

You know what else is bad...I REALLY want to use my IPOD!!! I know most of us athletes frown upon that, but on my long runs, I do SOOO much better and I know it's because I have my music.

Uggh...what to do???

GOOD LUCK TO YOU GUYS!!!

I'm in as well.  I just hope they measure it correctly this year.  Last year when it was the Chicago Distance Classic the course was long by about a quarter mile.  They adjusted times for people that were trying to get a corral for the Chicago Marathon.

The course is pancake flat and should be really fast, especially with a wave start.    Should be a good time.

I loved the course and the weather was great.  Such a great 1st 1/2 marathon experience.  I'm a SLOW runner doing the jog/walk training and finished in 3:05:30 which is what i expected BUT i tried to shadow the 3:00 pacer and realized at mile 10 that she was way too slow and not even close to a 3:00 finish.  I wish I would have realized that earlier...i would have pushed for under 3:00.

on another note, I have got to find a good running coach that can evaluate my stride.  I think i can be faster than i am with the proper coaching.
