Subject: RE: Cannondale vs ScottI'm riding the women's version of the Scott Speedster. It fits me great, and I've had no problems with it (except for a defective short-reach shifter which was immediately replaced for free under the warranty ). It's all in all a terrific bike, but the CAAD9 bikes are also quite nice. Really, it's all going to boil down to fit. If the Scott is noticeably more comfortable on the road even after test rides, imagine the difference between the Scott and the Cannondale after a 100 mile ride. Buy the bike that fits you the best, which sounds like it's the Scott. Components can be swapped out, but frame geometry is forever. |
