IM-Louisville Cheering Section Plan.....

Extreme Veteran  427   St. Louis, MO |  Subject: IM-Louisville Cheering Section Plan.....O.K. guys some things have come up and the size of my group that was going to hang out at "The Pub" in 4th Street Live has been reduced greatly (my training partner and her family are bailing on the race).....but....this thought came to mind.... I have reserved two outside tables right next to the Finish Line with the idea that we could hang there (eat, drink, cheer, etc.) and with the BT Shirts could create quite a presence!! I am willing to work with someone that is not participating and willing to "Squat" and hold the table until such point that we get enough folks milling around to make "holding the spot" unneccessary..... Anyone want to volunteer?? Paul |

The wife and I were planning on heading down for the weekend and had reservations at a state park but were having some issues with our schedule now, but I'll keep it in mind. Maybe I can shoot down for a night. Does anyone have a bed open? |

The more the merrier....that is the whole idea...the more folks we have milling around the table the easier it will be to hang onto and also, the easier it will be for folks to spot .......... I'd love to have my friends, family and hubby in the cheering section  My family will probably be around the course but I have some friends coming which I know would love to get a drink and enjoy the finish line. I'm sure they could hold the table for a while. Depending on when the BTers are expecting to finish, I'm sure we could have people saving seats for each hour from 10+ hrs onward to midnight. I want to be there for the last hour so hopefully we can all meet up at the end as well. Could you email me [email protected] so we can plan a place to meet each other before the race. I'll be there cheering for Davidtri's and JeremyTrains and other the other Columbus BTers who are doing this race. I do have young kids to keep track of, but we will certainly try to make an appearance at the table! |
