Subject: Hello from Puerto Rico
Hello everyone, In October 2003 I was 230lb, so I decided to start joggin and dieting, then I met at the park a guy who is a begginer triathlete, two weeks later I bought a bike... and since then I lost 45+ pounds, I'v done a couple of 10k and 5k races and duals. I've been having problems swimming (breathing) but I'll be changing couch soon.

I want to do my first tri in the summer, all depends how well I do in swimming.

I'm happy to find this forum...

Welcome aboard Carlos;
Don't worry about the swimming, you'll find plenty of advice to help you here. I myself could barely swim 100 yards in January. Now I swim 600 yards with out a break.
