Queen BTich  12411    , |  Subject: I love this song! Bear...small world!!The song is called "HOME" by Marc Broussard. Its played on our older rock station here in Atlanta. I LOVE IT!!! I couldn't figure out who sang it and finally found out today. I went to read up on the guy, the album is called CARENCRO (where he's from...cajun country!) I didn't even care to sample the rest of the songs, I immediately bought the whole album! Played a monster set at Festivale International here back in April. My wife was a Broussard (before I improved her station in life), swears she's related to him. David Gray, Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw (the pop one out of the bunch), Elliot Smith, Guster, Jack Johnson (west coast surfer, awesome!, chris isaak without the yodeling), Jeff Buckley, Matt Nathanson, Teitur. They're all kind in that throaty guy with guitar genre. And who could forget the Chipoltes. |
