Thanks. Here's as much info as I can contribute I think:
- I go for a run or cycle, and the 310XT is correctly set for Running for Bike 1
- I return, and the Garmin Ant Agent sees it and downloads the run
- I can add the run or cycle in my normal training log via "Import from Garmin", and it finds the event and adds it, and it spends a few seconds uploading data
- going to "Add New Route" brings up the route creation window (http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp?set=2&autoclose=true)
- I 'Upload from:' and select "Garmin Device", which pops up the normal plain Garmin communicator box. It says "Found Forerunner 310XT" without me having to "Find Devices"
- Clicking on "Get Data" immediately returns "0 tracks found.". It doesn't take any time or read the watch (well, PC data file)
Versions:
Firefox 7.0.1
Garmin ANT Agent: 2.2.17
Garmin Communicator Plugin: 3.0.1.0.
Garmin 310XT watch: S/W Version 3.90, GPS 2.10. The events from the past week (at least) show up in the watch under "History" all correctly (duration, distance, type, etc.)
I've also just now installed the same plugin in IE9 and verified it works, and get the same "0 routes found".
And, in case this helps:
- attempting to import routes/tracks on the www.gpsies.com website, which uses the same Garmin Communicator Plugin, returns the same sort of error: "0 routes, 0 tracks and 0 waypoints found".
I've also attached the entire contents of my "C:\Users\doug\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Devices" directory. Oh, whoops, can't - the zip file is 800K. Have emailed it instead.
