Subject: anyone know how to get things from a tivo to a DVD?
I have a standard tivo with direct tv and I noticed it has a USB port on it, is there a way to get things off the tivo and onto a PC? I have 5 IM races I want to burn...

I dunno, but you could always try connecting it to your PC and see if the PC recognizes the new hardware.

Jim's right. Try connecting it to your PC and see if it recognizes it. If it does, treat it like another harddrive. It'd probably be best to just transfer the files to your PD harddrive and then burn away! Let me know once you get this figured out. I might be able to provide a broader audience among our BT friends.

I was hoping you'd chime in.  I've seen you offer this before, but I would never speak for a Wookie.  That strikes me as a dangerous practice to engage in.
