Are the roads all paved now? When I did it in 2012 there was a stretch that was packed down dirt road. That was rough.

They were all "paved" meaning that we never had to go on dirt, but there were several spots with loose gravel and generally rough surfaces.

Overall I was impressed with how the race was run. I'd recommend it for a comeback race!

Congrats! My dog and I were out cheering people on by the church on Belding road. It was fun watching the bike porn go by. I've only done a sprint at this point but think this is going to be added to my list next year as it's so close to home.
