Morning swim workout and weight training afterwards.
I have a race Saturday and been wondering if this is my last race.
I missed all of 2016 due to injuries. Came back strong (so I thought ) and had a injury that set me back a few weeks. Completed two races this year and did pretty good. My left knee started acting up a few weeks ago. It has started to even bother me on the bike. Saw my doctor last week and he said it is Patellar tendinitis but scheduled a MRI for next week since there may be some other issues.
Still running and biking up to the race this week but may take some time off after Saturday. I'm 53 and been racing seven years and wondering if it is time to hang it up. I love training and racing but dang the injuries are frustrating.
