Subject: RE: Hello Every One, I'm New to this sportYour weight training is probably going to have to change. When I got started, I was doing 4 sets of 10 reps with 225 pounds on the bench press (not too bad for an almost 40 year old guy ). As I got more into the tri training, I decreased my weights and increased my reps. Unless you have been working out anaerobically already, you'll probably find yourself short-winded. Your body uses oxygen differently when lifting weights than it will when doing endurance exercises. In order to help me to be able to use oxygen more efficiently, I had to switch to the endurance type of weight lifting. I'm still not good at it, but it is helping and I am getting better. |
