Ipod vending machine???

I thought this was going to be more towards an mp3 vending machine for iPods. Think about it, you're out and about and you think "oh I'd like to have that song on my iPod" and if you're like me by the time you get home you forgot what song it was. So you go up to the vending machine, toss in a dollar and plug your ipod in and select your song. Might require having your own plug, I imagine someone would damage the plug out of spite.

Crap, ok I just ©,®, & ™ this idea. So don't anyone try stealing it.

What am I talking about, I don't have the capital for this.

Maybe you could make it so the little plug-thingy doesn't pop out until the dollar has been inserted.  That would (maybe) keep people from messin' up the plug out of spite.  

iTunes vending machine is actually a pretty good idea.  Cheap, too: all you'd need is a simple computer loaded with iTunes and a high-speed connection, right?

I'm sure iTunes would love to market this, and with them in charge they would be able to find a work around for the authentification.

A chord release after paying a dollar could work, but what about a slot that opens and you insert your iPod (like on the home bases or boomboxes.) That way the connection is safer tucked away.

This would work great in a Mall, I don't know a teenager that doesn't have an iPod.

I saw one in the Indianapolis airport this weekend. At first I thought it was just a display then I did a double take.

I forgot my Shuffle on the trip and had my laptop with me. I seriously considered using the machine to buy one.
