Subject: GPX to Route tracker...

Hello all,
   I am having trouble uploading my GPX files from my Garmin 305 to the Route tracker.  I can get them to upload but they seem to be truncating the end of the route.  For example, I have a 30 mile bike ride that I did and in Motionbased is comes up perfect, I export to GPS and I get a 19.88 mile route when I bring it into BT, also a 5.9 mile run comes into BT as a 4.2 mile run.

Anyone have similar problems?

Same issues with me -- started happening around mid Feb (but i just stopped using the BT feature), figuring that eventually they'd work it out on this site.....not that it matters, but I'm using a 205.

Any luck with this yet. I can import my runs from a gpx file, however the rte gets cut short.

I made some changes and was able to upload sample files people had sent me. See this thread for details.

Try clearing your browser cache, it might still be using the previous version of the upload code. If it still doesn't work, send me the gpx file.

Mike, I tried again, after clearing the cache and still a no go.  It gets about 5 miles of whichever, route that I put in whether it is a 6 mile or 12 mile rte.

I will send the files to BT support under the same subject as this thread.

Dave, the files have your routes broken up into segments. The uploader currently doesn't handle this. For now, can you see if you can export these as one segment each? I'll see about getting the uploader able to work with these.

There are multiple trkseg tags in the files
