Several days ago, I received a form in the mail for a STAR Tax Rebate from the State of New York.  For those not familiar with this, we, as homeowners, have to pay an extra state tax that is used to provide additional school funding - but under this STAR program, you get a "rebate" if you qualify.  (which really is just a sneaky way of making a large tax increase for people who don't qualify).

It seems that whenever an election is near, we get a rebate.

I filled out the form and today received a check for $181.03.  Now, yes, this is MY money the State of New York is given back to me - but for an intensive purposes it is found money to me.

What, oh wise COJ, should I do with $181.03?
