Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: The Peep Giants: Extra Big, Extra Stuffed Welcome to the March Challenge.... The Peep Giants are much bigger than their marshmallow friends, capable of picking up and eating the inhabitants of Peep town. They live in the mountains, only venturing into the city when they need extra supplies...their experience in the mountains make them great climbers Edited by D001 2008-02-29 10:50 PM |

Expert 1202 Montana | Subject: RE: The Peep Giants: Extra Big, Extra Stuffed Hi team! This is only my second challenge on BT, but last month went well for me personally. Some rocks have sunk, and that is disappointing, but this team will do better! I am 38, married for 18 years. We have three teenage daughters, whom I homeschool. I am homeschool ski coordinator, an 8-year 4-H leader, and a rabbit enthusiast. I love to xstitch, but I've given up most of my stitching time for training. This is my second season of triathlon. I was Yesterday I had my first road ride. It was cold, and the wind was terrible, yet I was happy just to be out on the pavement. We'll probably get more winter, forcing me to stay inside, but I will finish my goal! |

Subject: RE: The Peep Giants: Extra Big, Extra Stuffed Hello team. My goal is 400 miles for the month which is equal to about what I did combined in the first two months of the year where I focused on running. Time to start building my bike back for my second full year of triathlon. Last year I did a HIM and Full Aquabike, this year I won't have as much time to train and will be focsuing on a couple of Olympics early and a half aquabike and possibly a late season HIM if everything comes together like I hope. Can't wait for March 9th and the return of day light savings time.

Extreme Veteran 466 | Subject: RE: The Peep Giants: Extra Big, Extra Stuffed Hey Cat- can you edit the team list in the first post to include the whole team? At least I think this is the team I'm on but there's only 8 names listed. My goal is 250 mi for the month. Just started riding again in Feb sincebeing totally burned out after IM Moo last year. Didn't even bother unpacking my tri bike until Dec. Anyways, right now it's looking like most of my biking will be on the trainer as we still have tons of the white death and are getting more. 100 days until I move to Hawai'i Race plans include St Anthony's and FL 70.3 plus there is an indoor triathlon(maybe-depends on the white death) Mar 2 here in ME and some running races with family. BTW, this team is the Montana connection so far. I went to Clinton Elem and Hellgate for my freshman year of high school, played Y and Strikers soccer. StitchloverSith was born at Community General and NYcpa is a U of M grad. Go Griz! |

(I was up late on sugar last night getting these up so they were ready for everyone when they woke up which after a full week at work might not have been smart) I cant edit posts after 30 minutes (Im not a forum moderator so I have the same BT rights as everyone else... I just run these challenges occasionally because... actually one day I will figure out why!)
Anyway I will see if one of the mods can do it! Otherwise the full team line up is (currently): 1.cworley 2. Ellie 3. mac3116 4. nycpa 5. oweiss 6. roin_runnw 7. Shoeless 8. StichloverSith 9. tkbslc 10. xterratri

Master 2005 Silverton, Oregon | Subject: RE: The Peep Giants: Extra Big, Extra Stuffed Hi everyone! It's good to see some familiar faces This is my second bt challenge, and I love them! I finished my first sprint tri last year, and have two sprints and an olympic planned for this year. My goal for this challenge is 12 hours, and I'm excited to get back on my bike after only doing some spin classes this winter. I concentrated mostly on running this winter preparing for my first half marathon. I'm another Montanan, but I spend a lot of time traveling throughout the pacific northwest. Looking forward to this challenge! Roni |

Expert 1202 Montana | Subject: RE: The Peep Giants: Extra Big, Extra Stuffed I know this barely counts, but I did go 15 minutes this morning. It was quiet, and 40 degrees on the way out, but the wind came up. Now it is snowing. Love that Montana 'spring' weather! Edited by Shoeless 2008-03-01 11:39 AM |

Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: RE: The Peep Giants: Extra Big, Extra Stuffed Hi Team - as mentioned earlier please find attached the team spreadsheet for tracking your progress this month. Dee will shortly be uploading these to google spreadsheet and you have a choice as a team (or team captain) whether to use the online google spreadsheet or the hard copy for your reporting. From a team captain point of view google spreadsheet makes the job easier as each person is responsible for updating their own data to the spreadsheet each week. The team captain role then becomes primarily motivational and o provide a reminder to everyone to update the sheet. Cat Attachments ---------------- Peep Giants.xls (15KB - 38 downloads) |
