![]() For those of you who like to train to music, what songs do you have on your iPod or CD player that really get you going? You know- get the juices flowing.... Ricky Martin's "Cup of Life" is at the top of my list (stop sneering in the back there) also Eminem's "Lose Yourself". How about you? |

Coach ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() U2s Street with no name ROCKS! I also like tunes by Weezer. As a whole album to workout to, Moby's Play is perfect. starts out slow, rocks inthe middle, and gets trance like in the end. Perfect for 45 minutes training session. |

Extreme Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I have a "workout playlist" on my iPod that constantly changes, but right now a couple of my favorites are from the Chemical Brothers. Good tunes with good tempo that really keep you going on the bike during the climbs. |

But I love tech songs when I am not in the mood - helps when the beat forces you to run I might need to get a few of the songs listed above - thanks for those Jen |

Regular![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I listen to a variety of stuff, but most of it is really mellow. For some reason, slow mood music gets me the most motivated because it keeps me focused. "Fear" - Sarah McLachlan "I Shall Believe" - Sheryl Crow "The One" - Kyler England "Good Enough" - Sarah McLachlan "Break You Off" - The Roots "Laugh as the Sun" - Rusted Root "Crucify" - Tori Amos And the list goes on. By the way, if you've never heard Kyler England, you should check her out: www.kylerengland.com. It's well worth the time. |

Regular![]() ![]() | ![]() I like things that rev me up: Rage Against the Machine (Take the Power Back), The Offspring (She's Got Issues, Pretty Fly for a White GuyP, Linkin Park (Somewhere I Belong, Breaking the Habit), Social Distortion (Bad Luck), The Urge (Gettin' Hectic), Bad Religion (21st centure digital boy, Struck a Nerve), etc. I can't do mellow while I'm training. Of course this is usually only on the Treadmill or trainer. I don't wear headphones when I'm outside training (Too many rude people!) Rock on. Thom |

Extreme Veteran![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() An MP3 player is on my short list of future purchases. I do love to blast music when I'm riding on my trainer, or hitting the bowflex. My current "wear it out" CD is U2's newest, "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb". For most of this past year, I've been wearing out Melissa Etheridge's latest, "Lucky". I love the emotion in her songs and performances! Hands down, my favorite workout/clean house/get the blood moving CD is INXS, "Kick". Super energy on that one! Are YOU ready for a new sensation??? ![]() |
