Subject: Graph hours not minutes on blog?
I checked in the control panel and there doesn't seem to be a way to have our weekly graphs in our blog show hours trained rather than minutes.  I think having the minutes in our daily logs is fine, but I'd rather be able to have the option of graphing weekly hours show up on my blog rather than total minutes....I'm too dumb to be able to divide by 60 without a calculator    Thanks

That will be an option when we redesign the site later in the year...we plan on doing a lot of enhancements to the minigraphs to allow more flexibility in units, time or distance and choosing the ones you want.

Is it just me, or is there a new look to our blogs this afternoon?

I tried looking for a way to customize my graphs to show hours instead of minutes like I asked above, but that feature doesn't appear to exist.  Is this still in the plans?  Thanks!!

It's still definitely in the plans. This was one of those situations where if we waited until every feature we wanted to get out was done, nothing would ever get released. So we prioritized the big ones and others that could be done relatively easily and made a list for stage two.

That one is requested fairly frequently so it is definitely going to happen.

Hi Marma.... AWESOME new site design.  LOVE IT. Great job!!!

Just to add to this line of discussion, I have always wondered why our training plans call for Strength Training and Core work and assign time to it, BUT in our Planned vs. Actual graph to the left of our blog, it strictly logs/deals with the S,B,R and not the ST&C.  If it is part of our plan and we are supposed to do it....shouldn't it show there?  I kind of feel cheated.  I actually DO the strength training, and to see my total hours for the week, I have to actually count up all the colored blocks in the second graph that show each sport broken out, and includes ST and Sports.  (Does any of this make sense)?  Anyway...just wondered if there was a reason why, or any thoughts about changing it.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO! BT ROCKS!

Bumping this request.

x2 on hours instead of minutes.
Lots of people ask "How many hours a week do you train?"
I also would have to get out a calculator. It would be cool to just see it at a glance.

Maybe you could even not make it an option - just change it to hours. Then you wouldn't have to create a new setting/preference.

I love the Training Log and everything else about the site! Nice work!

A couple new graphs went live this weekend and with them we kind of addressed this. The Y axis scale is still in minutes, but the bars now have tooltips with the Hours values.

Free members have two new graphs.
  • Total Volume - Pie Chart: nice way to compare total volume of s/b/r, strength and sports over any date range
  • Frequency: see how often you s/b/r.
Performance Members have those plus:
  • Total Volume - TriSports Only - Pie Chart: nice way to compare total volume of s/b/r over any date range
  • Frequency for individual trisports.
  • Actual vs. Planned Frequency for Tri-Sports only:  How many workouts did you have planned vs. how many you actually did. Sometimes the truth hurts more than a speedwork session.

I don't know if it went live on the 18th or before and I'm just now noticing, but THANKS for the option to display the mini-graph as distance.

HA!  I came looking to see if anyone had asked how to switch your graph back to all minutes when you scroll over it and see lots of people *wanted* hours.  Must be completely personal preference.  It's much harder for me to figure out in my head exactly how many minutes 2.38 hours is than it is to go the reverse way figuring out how many hours 145 mins is.

I'd just like the horizontal lines to always be set to increments of 60 minutes.  That way the y axis can stay minutes, and there is an easy way to quickly figure out the hours.  I don't like that seemingly everytime I draw a graph, the horizontal lines changes its increment.

Thanks
