Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: Avatar Avengers Welcome to the June MOVE-IT OR LOSE-IT Challenge!Remember - if you don't MOVE-IT this month, your team will LOSE-IT!Avatar Avengers (Team 2) Roster rgattis roni_runnw gaiaserver jana0317 carlacrews bondgirl kleinrider Fielding gillyfev smeador sealiongirl carrie1 dcon Shoeless madkat movingsouth Team Spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-AmOhPG2sFtEQ&hl=e... You will need to enter the following information: email address: [email protected] password: challengeforum If you can't access the spreadsheet, look at the bottom right corner. If it says, "edit this page," click that link and enter the info above. To enter your OWN email address as a user of the spreadsheet: 1) Logon, as shown above. 2) Click the SHARE tab, then INVITE yourself. You will be able to log on with your own email address after this. Rules and such: At the end of the month: The winning team(s) will display a signature line: "My team won the June Challenge!" All other (losing) teams will display an avatar of something that SHOULD have made them move more! This could be your shoes (ie: you should have run more), or your bike (ie: you should have biked more), or your bathing suit (ie: you should have swam more), or.... etc. Avatars and signature lines will be displayed for the month of July. After that, it's your choice whether to leave it, or remove it. Team spreadsheets will be put on Google Spreadsheets. Each team member will update his/her own info. However..... Each team will select a team captain. The team captain will be responsible for making sure that each team member updates the spreadsheet by the reporting dates, and/or will enter information for people who are unable to update the spreadsheet directly. The Challenge will begin on June 1st, and end on June 30th. In the event of injury/illness, you may request to be dropped from the challenge, without penalty. If you achieve 100% of your goal before the month is over, you may request to raise your goal. At the end of the month, the winning team will be the team with the highest completion rate. All training must be logged in your BT Training Log, by SATURDAY night, your time. If it’s not logged and reported, it didn’t happen! For reporting, the weeks will run as follows: June 1 - 7 June 8 - 14 June 15 - 21 June 22 - 28 June 29 - 30 Please note: The week will end on Saturday. This will allow me to compile the results on Sunday. Smack talking: -- Smack talking is not mandatory, but may be done. -- Smack talk is different from a personal attack. Expert 831 Eltham North, Victoria | Subject: RE: June Team 2 I'll get the ball rolling. I'm Tammie, married stay at home to son aged 7.5. I'm from australia and it's approaching winter here so I am just trying to stay motivated during our cold wet months. I haven't done a tri for over 4 years so I'm starting from almost scratch(Ihave been running). These challenges are great fun. There is no way I would have one half the volume over the last couple of months without them. Look forward to meeting you all. |

Veteran 242 Reading, Berkshire (UK) | Subject: RE: June Team 2 I'm here! (Just lurking while I finish off the May challenge...) But I don't know how much I'll be around in June I've got Jury Service for the first two weeks and that has the potential to seriously limit my BT time... Anyway, my name's Gill and I'm a married, working mum (1 daughter, aged 1). I'm originally from Scotland, but I grew up in Australia and I'm now living outside Reading in the UK. It's meant to be summer over here but right now we've got enough rain to float Noah's Ark so I need loads of motivation to get out and train. I've done one tri this season and a couple two years ago with a break for baby! I agree with Tammie -- there's no way I'd have done half the training I've done this year without the challenges! |

Extreme Veteran 877 Pa | Subject: RE: June Team 2 Hello there! I just got added to the team. My name is Carrie - I'm currently training for Timberman, with a few other tris thrown in the mix. I haven't set my goals yet for the month. I have to work the numbers. :-) I'd like to really challenge myself on the bike this month so I'm thinking I may make that number rather high, for me at least |

So why are you the quietest team? Hm. I think you need some more teammates. Okey dokey. I'll get to work on it. LOL |

Jim here...single dad (48) with two daughters (10 and 14). Using the challenges to keep on focus for my first sprint tri in September. Also really want to have control of my avatar back since i have been on non-winning teams for the past two months....third time is a charm. Going to Mexico the second week of June so it will be interesting to see how consistent the training will be. Glad to be part of Team 2! I can already tell we are going to win!

I'm going with: 20k yards swimming Once the team spreadsheets are up I guess I'll post them there :-) I was sick an entire week of May (last week) and am trying to get my yards in for May's challenge. Being sick really throws a kink in the plans |

Master 1792 | Subject: RE: Avatar Avengers Hi all. I just figured out how to post on this thread. You actually have to be logged in...go figure. I worked a ton of hours in May, so training was put on the back burner. I'm done with that. I'm starting out June with a triathlon...on Sunday (it'll be my 2nd). Hopefully that will get the ball rolling for me and keep me motivated. My ultimate goals are weightloss, so by completeing the distances for this challenge, I'm hoping to acheive my ultimate goal. And guess what, there are only 2 folks signed up in the Athena category on Sunday...I'm totally going to win 2nd place GO AVATAR AVENGERS!!! The Cheesecakes are going down!!! ...and I don't mean to our hips ladies! Edited by carlacrews 2008-05-30 12:12 PM |

Master 1281 Long Beach, CA | Subject: RE: Avatar Avengers Hey everyone! Thought I'd check in here! I'm excited for June, as I'm off work the second half of the month, which means tons o time to train! I'm 34, married and have two kids ages 6 and 7. I've been racing since September and have only done sprints, 5ks, and OW races so far. Not sure what's on tap for summer races, but am registered to do the LA Sprint in September! |
