Subject: Saturday morning long run?? Please??

So my normal partner in pain is slacking off this weekend (some excuse about a triathlon on Sunday and tapering) so I will be left alone to run 18-20 long slow miles with only my dog for company.  Does anyone care to join me for a long run or part of a long run this Saturday?  Deanna usually makes me start at 5AM (I tell you she's MEANCry) but I would be willing to go as late as 6AM.  I am fairly slow and run 10-11 minute miles for this run but I could seriously use some company.  You would also get ot meet my dog Jasper, who recently had his toenails painted by my daughter so is very glamorous right now.

I live on the east side of Madison a little east of Kennedy Elementary School and usually start from home although I could drive a little to meet someone.

So, anyone up for a long run Saturday morning?  Pretty please.  I promise to not let my dog trip you unless you try to go faster than me.

Don't worry.  If she catches you I have lots of bandaids.  Of course they are my daughter's "Hannah Montana" bandaids

unfortunatly I only have 14 on the plan this saturday (and i'm an hour east of you..) although i suspect Sully & Jasper would be one too many dogs for a run..

had to say thxs for the pinch collar suggestion, worked out great for my 7 mile run earlier this week.

I am glad it worked.  I really enjoy taking Jasper for my runs now that he doesn't occasionally try to drag me down the trail. 

Sully may get jealous of Jasper having cool painted toenails too.  My daughter picked an irridescent purple color that complements his black fur. 

Good luck with your marathon training.  Too bad they won't let us take our dogs.
