Subject: RE: Give me your best blister prevention for a wet rundrewb8 - 2008-08-20 1:54 PM Smartwool socks. I've run two marathons in the rain with them and they were great. First one I used bodyglide on my toes too - I got one small blister but I didn't notice it until I got home. 2nd one was part of an IM, just the socks, no bodyglide or vaseline and no blisters at all. Listen to Drew, he is wise. I've tried most of the other stuff here, but this one is the only one that has really worked. I raced a HIM earlier this year, in a torrential downpour, where I literally had to pour water out of my shoes in T2 before starting the run. Smartwool socks kept my feet blister free. No other sock that I've tried works as well. |
