Master  1795     Boynton Beach, FL |  Subject: Rudy Project Racing helmets...SYTON OPEN HELMET WHITE PEARL LARGE Has anyone had any expereince with these helmets? They are offering them at pretty decent discounts to my Club and just wanted to hear any pros/cons out there. I have been shopping for an aero helmet for next big race in November, but not sure if this model is truly "aero"? Thanks for any help/advice... |

Comfy, not hot, and doesn't give me that "in a tunnel" feeling (I had one of the first generation Giro Aeroheads that made me feel that way). Is it really "aero"? I don't care. It fairs well with my position, and I believe it helps (and I think the belief does more for me than a couple ounces less of drag). |

I have a Super Comp and love the option to take the ear covers off or keep them on. It's super comfortable, does not get too hot, and it's aero. I like that it's shorter then other helmets, that way it creates less drag in the real world when the wind is from the side or you're not looking straight ahead. Specialized actually shortened their aero helmets for this reason this year. |
