Subject: Do i need optional cadence sensor with PowerTap 2.4?

I purchased the PowerTap 2.4 Sl and I am debating if I should add the optional wireless cadense sensor.  Is the PowerTap accurate in measuring cadense without the sensor?  Like to hear others experience.

I have a PT Pro and the 2.4 wireless and with the latter while I dont have the cadence sensor it really measures my rpms pretty close to the Por (which does have one) hence I didn't get the sensor.

I have the wired SL with cadence sensor.  But after losing the magnet for the cadence I disconnected the cable completely and don't miss it.  I'd skip it.
