Does anyone 5'6" or shorter have a large saddle to aerobar drop? Pics or it doesn't exist.

If you are long legged/ short torso, I'm guessing you'd be too cramped in a deep aero position- unless you had freakishly long upper arms?

If you have a long torso, obviously your seat position would be too low to have a large drop.

Even with 650c wheels, I can't imagine a short rider being able to comfortably and powerfully achieve a deep aero position or even flat backed for that matter.

Ya...no pic (sorry), but when I can see my shadow and in a couple race photos that I didn't buy, my back is pretty much flat and almost parallel to the ground.  I think I've got a great bike fit.  Saddle is high, but not too high and aero elbow pads cannot be lower or I would not be able to see in front of me because the angle of my head / neck would be too great.

I am 5'3".

my old bike was set up for short course racing only, i am 5'6'', had 17cm of saddle/bar drop.

photo of the bike is here: www.dcsavoie.blogspot.com

its the photo of the white bike by the tree. new bike i can get that low, but with only a half and full IM left this year its come up a bit to take comfort into priority.

I am 5'7" and ride a 52 cm Felt DA. My drop saddle to aero bars pads was 14.2 cm on the pic below at steelhead back in Aug. Currently my drop is 14.5 cm,

below are my current bike fit numbers as you can see on SlowTwictch profile (all #s on milimiters)

5' 7 1/2", 30" inseam on a 51cm/700c frame with somewhere between 16cm-18cm drop.

I'll try and find a pic, but my back is still far from parallel to the ground.

5'6 with 29 inch inseam. My torso is longer. I'll check for pictures but I don't have hardly any drop. I'm looking for a new tri bike but just not having much luck finding a good fit. In my fitting process so far I've been told that my torso supports a bike with a top tube of around 53cm but I'm having problems being cofortable on my 50cm bike with a 50cm top tube. I found a couple of pictures...I have no drop!!!

See...this is exactly the case for 650c bikes.
