Subject: IM Cozumel

I have seen this new IM and I wonder if we should expect easier Hawaii slots since it is the first one.

What do you think?

Btw I guess it will be though due to high temperature and humidity...

I was wondering the same thing- not that I'm even trying to or close to Kona qualifying.  I'm just wondering how windy it can get out there on the bike course??

I am going to say it will be about the same that any other IM. They have only 50 slots vs 75 which most NAS races have. (dont know other international races). Due to the proximity to the US and the fact that if qualify you will race Kona until the following year many will try to get their spot there (like in AZ and FL). In terms of the weather in can be very hot and humid, windy and the swim will be a non-wetsuit swim in the ocean.
