Subject: RE: How long to rest after sprint raceA couple of days or maybe 3 should be fine. Just listen to your body. Some people will use races as training days, just depends on how hard you feel you pushed it and how your are feeling in general with tightness/soreness in joints/muscles.
Different people will recover differently and for different reasons. If it was your first one or last one for the season, take a week to pat yourself on the back and feel good about your accomplishment, do some R&R stuff, grab a massage. If you're gonna try and squeeze another race in before the end of the season then I'd probably ease back into training over the next day or two. IMO
