Subject: Return of Frozen Man
Last year 2 of us froze our ninnies in a great Tri effort. in NOVEMBER
(one man, that being Josh, decided to Du)

We plan on doing it agin this year, but days are limited - October 18 or 25 or truly cold - Nov 15

If enough people are ballsy enuff - the rules are

10 min swim in the lake
30 min T1 - must be done shivering before we venture out on the bike
20+ mile bike ride
5 min T2 - sufficient for everyone to get ready
Run ~3 miles - together til the half way point then all on your own sprinting home

SO who is interested in some insanity!

Let me know and lets go!!!!

The 25th isnt an option cuz its Discovery Run unless we swim in Lake Michigan before or after.  How about a reverse tri?

Last year at Discovery, I saw a guy that set up his trainer and rode bike for some unspecified amount of time pre-run. I asked him if he was going to swim, too. He laughed.

I'm in. The november date would probably work best for me. I think the pit in my stomach now is worse than the one I got after I registered for IMMOO '09!

I am in for this, but not the 25th.

On another note, we are thinking of having an open house/housewarming party/we are done with projects for a while, party on the 24 in the evening and night.  Thinking starting at 2 or 3 and going until the last people leave.  Would people be cool with doing that the same day as Discovery.  Looking to have as many BT'ers and Donks present as possible.

Since Triathletes have been tagged "a little nutz", I would definately be interested in this one.  Just giggling thinking about the swim.  Craig will have to attend to make sure none of us end up with hypothermia.  Anyway, is a Sunday one of those said weekends an option?  All those Saturday's are taken with football.

Okay - I think as of now Oct 18 is looking like the leading candidate date.

I would prefer November, but October swims are pretty cool also.

SO - let me know if OCT 18th works for you, All I need is one more sucker

PLUS if we go October the swim may be lengthened is the h2o is not too cold - shiver effect is needed!

I could potentially be in on this, but it all depends on foot rehab. Can I get a run waiver? :D

I'm thinking that just may be our final tackle football day for Razor.  Will have to verify when I get home now that the date appears to be locked for this.

Insane is just fine as long as you are happy and don't permanently freeze any essential body parts.

That's what a wetsuit is for.
