Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts Hi Team! I'm Judi. Live here in the challenge board Froget how many challenges it is for me now....I missed maybe 2 months of them since the original TdF challenge in 2007. Not entirely sure of my goal, I think right now I'm saying 70 but it may go to 75 miles. I have a half marathon November 15 and need to look at the training plan. Already did 2.53 this morning |

Expert 919 Greenville, SC | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts Hello mysterious team mates! I am Kathrin and this is my first challenge. I am planning on entering my first sprint tri in May of next year and the running portion is what I need to improve on most.... this is a great goal setting opportunity. For this challenge I am in with 25 miles, but because I haven't tracked my training so far in detail, this is going to be interesting, if it was even realistic... But that's what challenges are for - hmmmm? ;-) See you around. |

Master 2201 Elgin, | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts I am Travis, I am a Runaholic, and I have a problem. After having a fantastic running month in Sept I have decided to continue through Oct. I am going to run the Denver Marathon on Oct 19th so I expect a lite second half of the month. With that in mind I am pushing for 65 miles, though I may pump it up since my better half's goal is 75. We will see how my legs feel on the 20th. Good luck Mysterious Ones. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts I'm Kendra. Haven't run in over a year. Getting back on track with wralking and we sill see how it goes. Some of you runaholics need to help me to see the thrill of running. Of course, I've had a bad foot problem all year, which is why no running or even walking, but I've gotten back to swimming and biking over the last couple of months and now its time for the third part of being a TRIathlete.

My name is Phil (introduced earlier via Beth), and I used to be a big challenge fanatic at the end of last year. I'm quite glad that we have Beth, Cat, and Kendra (and pushing to get LazyMarathoner with us - she'd be a good fit) - THEY BE DA BOMB! I have finished IM Moo '07, and have started training for IM Moo '09 starting with some "light" work for the next few weeks - Z2 training is crucial! I am a recovering Pad-a-holic, but now with this team, may fall off the wagon. Thanks, ladies. Let's do well and make our presence known!! bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts Hi team! I'm Beth, aka Tinkerbeth, I'm also addicted to challenges (or is it posting in the challenge forum???? ) I used to hate to run, but I have learned to like it more and more over the past year. I just recently moved to Pennsylvania from Nebraska and am finally getting settled in. I've completed 7 tri's over the past 3 years - 5 sprints and 2 oly's It looks like we have a great team and I'm ready for a fun month! Edited by lastcall2003 2008-10-01 12:26 PM |

That's interesting... How do you learn to like running more and more?? If there is something like a 10-step program - I NEED it...!!! Probably step 1 "join a challenge", step 2 "join a challenge", step 3 "join a challenge"..... ???? :-) Kathrin |

The easier it feels the more fun it becomes. When you can stop worrying about whether or not your legs are going to fall off, you can spend more time enjoying the journey. If all else fails, join a challenge. |
