Subject: RE: Swim Goggle suggestions?Another former competitive swimmer here (and former Speedo devotee ).
For triathlons (and even for training ), I prefer Aqua Sphere Kaimen goggles. I like the larger FOV for OWS and the comfort is outstanding. The Aqua Sphere goggles also don't seem to scratch up as easily. I swear, I could breathe on my Speedo googles wrong and they would scratch. I will never, ever own anything other than Kaimen goggles these days.
For anti-fog I use Aqua Sphere anti-fog solution. You apply it to your lens and let it set for two minutes before rinsing and wearing. It's usually the first thing that I do when I get to the pool. By the time I put on my cap and get my lane situated, two minutes is up. I don't rinse with clear water, I rinse with pool water. Works fine. The Anti-Fog properties will last a good 50 to 60 minutes as long as I don't take the goggles on and off. That's really the key... keeping them on your face.
