My wife and I will both be doing the 10K (first time for this race for either of us).

You can register on race day: $40 for either the 5K or 10K for same day registration.

Hmm...  I'm scheduled for 6 miles on saturday and 8 on sunday but now knowing about this I might switch those around and do the 8 on saturday then try to blow out the 10k on sunday and shoot for top 3 in my age group.

You could always keep your plan intact and  run the   8 on sunday by adding a mile warm up and  a  mile cool down  to the  6.2 of the race.    That will be my plan.

Good luck with the AG .  I  will be shooting for a PR.

Ditto for me...haven't run an open 10K in about a year and I've PRed the distance in an Oly tri run since then, so I'm really curious what my time will look like. Little chance at a podium spot for me--my current PR would have had me 10th in my AG last year, it appears--which is good, cuz my wife and I will have to scoot by 9:30 to make it to another event, so no hanging around for awards.

I've decided to spend my money on beer instead of the entry fee.  Best of luck on the PRs and enjoy the feeling of being at the start line and knowing all you have to do it run.
