Does anyone else have a crush on these bikes?

http://www.fujibikes.com/Specialty/Triathlon.aspx

I'm a fan of the Matty Reed signature.

Nobody but Cube and briderdt want to comment? I thought Fuji did a pretty good job on these.

The question on ST is are these good looking frames actually aero or just aero looking.

Please don't take the fact that I commented to mean that I like them.

Personally I think they should have the name "Radio Flyer" on the side instead of Fuji.

I've ordered mine! I'm getting the Matty Reed frame and building it up from there.  It's supposed to be here sometime this december. I'll post some pics when i get it.

I think it's a beautiful bike and would consider building up a frame. I actually don't like the Reed version though.

I posted pictures of a Rock Racing team’s bike earlier. I am one of the naysayers that does not think that they bike is very aero.  It looks very “meaty” and heavy.

"Looks meaty" Lol thats very un-scientific.  Numbers don't lie, and they numbers say the bike is very aerodynamic.  The only frame that beat it in the wind tunnel test was the Cervelo P4.  And if any bike looks meaty its that P4.  That has got to be one of the ugliest bikes i've seen.  Anyway one of my good friends owns a shop and sells Fuji's....So i get some good discounts.

Where are these numbers? I have not seen them. They are not posted on the other board either. A lot of companies have made these same claims but there are no numbers out there for any of use to look at.

Tell matty reed this bike is meaty after he just won IMCali 70.3 lol.  I think he will disagree with you.

It’s the motor not the machine… put him on a Cervelo, Specialized, Trek etc he most likely still would have won...

And if our paths do cross I am also going to ask why he chose to ride the Fuji Aloha at the Escape from Bermuda when the D6 was available to him.

sure.  remember that at his level there is a number of guys how have a strong motor and it comes down to the machine to give you an edge.

Probably should have ridden a Wasler or Wilier and had Fuji stickers put on it then.

I agree that it is the motor unless the bike is meaty....Then wouldn't that slow him down? So you are agreeing that the D6 is as good as or close to the other top brands.  I was just trying to make the point that it isn't that slow if he won on it.

and all i am saying is that when it comes to these guys where a 10-15 second lead is a lifetime it means alot to have an upperhand where you can.

that is why some of the equipment is meant for pro's.  not very many people are gonna ride a 10k scott plasma unless they have too much money or they are pro and they get the bike as a sponsorship.

at least that is my view.  i work with some sponsorships for a well known brand and that is usually the case.  you can have a swimsuit that is decent quality for $40, great feel in the water, good speed.  you can also have the speedo LZR.  problem is the speedo lzr fullbody suit is $600 and lasts 200 laps.  rather large price tag to pay imo.

The D6 is not ITU legal, but the Aloha is. If Matt starts doing Ironmans or 70.3 you can be he'll be on the D6.
