Subject: Base Training - First Time With Power Meter HelpBackground: Injury forced surgery - Brian got bigger and fatter and out shape and therefore out of breath a lot.
Completed HIM in 2006 in about 6h 20m.
Currently running running and biking slow to achieve a proper base: ie. run 1h 15m @ 6:30-6:45/km and bike 2h @ 25km/hr keeping my HR in my equivalent zone 2-3 (like I said lost ALL my fitness )
Goals: July Oly in under 2h 40m
I have just gone and purchased a Powertap Pro wired version used (good deal ) - how can I use this, or should use this tool to assist in my first real season of base training?
Any suggestions for free training software that will analyze my power readings?
*on a side note anyone know if I can use any magnet for the crank on the cadence sensor??
