It's possible I may run more, but with the holiday and a little taper for an early December half marathon that goal seems OK. I think it's a good idea to have a plan for reaching a goal. My plan is to run every day for just over 7 miles. Some days will be more, some may be less. What's your plan for reaching your goal? If you put it out there so we all can see it, maybe we can help if you start falling behind on your plan. To start off the month I did a 2 mile race this morning. The running club I belong to has this race on the first Saturday of each month. I finished in 13:32. After I got home I went for another run to help remove the lactic buildup from the race and then did some stretching after. That was a bit over 7 miles. I have an XC race of ~6 miles tomorrow. Should be fun! |
