Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Pecan Team - Just Wanna Run - November Hey gang! Some new "faces", some great friends. Should be a fun month! Short intro - I'm hoping to run 11 sessions this month. Working my way back from injury, so taking it slow and steady in the rebuild. So far, so good - fingers crossed. I live in the mountains of New Hampshire and am eagerly awaiting snowshoe season. I'm hoping to do at least one snowshoe race this winter; it'll be my first. There's already snow up in them thar hills, gonna go play in it today! I work third shift which is why I'm always posting by my lonesome at 4:03 a.m. - anyone else crazy enough to be up lemme know! Hope we have an awesome month! |

Master 1529 | Subject: RE: Pecan Team - Just Wanna Run - November Hello all, I too am going slow and steady trying to build up to running a full 30 min. (Knee issues) I am doing the couch to sprint program from this site, the conservative one, hopefully my knees will play along. So far so good. I'm about 4mo. into it, 2 more months of just running and then it has me adding in some biking. So for me right now its RUN RUN RUN, and some core workouts thrown in there as well. Can't wait to meet the rest of you! Mel |

Workwise not as successful as I wanted it, but that wasn't something I was able to influence. Funwise I have no complains! ;-) Was able to catch up with friends and family.... Drink beer and even got some good workouts in. It's 6AM on a Sunday and I am posting, so the jetlag is not over yet. ;-) |

Expert 784 Computerland | Subject: RE: Pecan Team - Just Wanna Run - November Hi Pecans! I just had a great 5K race yesterday, taking 3 minutes off my PR! I am really excited about running now, and am setting my goal for 16 hours of running this month. This is the same goal I set last month, but I didn't quite make it. I will try again this month. Hopefully the second try is a charm! |

Master 2055 Santa Clarita | Subject: RE: Pecan Team - Just Wanna Run - November Greeting Pecans I am in for 80 miles this month . I am working on higher mileage over the winter as i have cut back my bike and Swim quite a bit in favor of running. I want to get faster at 10ks and Half marathon's this winter . I am in my fourth year of doing triathlons and think its a great way to stay fit. Winter here in Los Angeles is a better time to run as our weather cools down . Started this morning with the local Half Mary . I am closer to my goal by that much now . So 67 to go. Plan is to be flexible but include (once a week) long runs , speed workouts , hills and races. Also swim and bike once a week for cross training and recovery.

J/K, just giving you a hard time. I hiked on Saturday in GORGEOUS weather, about 40 degrees. Perfect temp, warm clear sun. Almost had to go tromping through a swamp in the middle of the night in the low 30s, that wouldn't have been fun. Well, it would have been fun, in a masochistic sort of way. |
