Iowa has beaten Superior before, in the '88 Peach Bowl. History will repeat itself.

They do not have a good enough defense to stop Shaun Greene.

Iowa may be the only b10 team to win...I don't like the matchups. NW will get KILLED. OSU might too if Pryor plays like a Freshman. Minnesota could lose by 45 if it gets ugly....not going to be a good year for the b10 (but I hope I am completely wrong)

Who would have thought The Team Up North would have beat Florida last year in the bowl?? Don't sell the Big Ten short. I think they will surprise you.

OK, where are the big 10 wins?

USC v. Penn State; Texas v OSU; FSU v. Wisconsin, NW v. Mizzou, Minn v. Kansas, Mich. State v GA.

I truely believe that USC and Texas are head and shoulders above their Big 10 opponents. Wisconsin could beat FSU but I'm not going to pick against my 'Noles. I think Mizzou is going to drop about 45 on NW.  Minn could win against Kansas, I don't know enough about either so my theory on betting on bowl games is "When in doubt bet against the Big 10".  Michigan State v. GA, depends on which GA team shows up, could be close, but GA could lay 35 on the Spartans.

At best I see 3 wins for the Big 10.

As far as the Florida teams, I think UF is the best team in the country.  I'll never pick against my 'Noles (although a loss wouldn't surprise me), Miami is a stretch, but I think they are playing better than Cal. right now.  USF is basically playing at home. And I think Fla. Atlantic has a superior coach.

Penn State crushed Oregon State, Oregon State beat USC, Penn State beats USC (this is BCS logic)

Penn State beat FSU two years ago.   University of Florida is also in Florida, Penn State would beat UF.  (my logic)

I may have missed one or two, but a quick look at the morning line shows that Iowa is the only Big10 school favored in the bowl matchups. So for the most part the professionals agree with the OP.

Hmmm, I think I like Wisky's and Minnesota's chances.  Not betting on wins, but these should be some really interesting games.  I also wouldn't put it past the Spartans to take it to Georgia.

Oh yeah, Arizona continues to roll and beats BYU   BEAR DOWN!!!!

Be careful of my beloved Buckeyes (would you expect me to say anything else)! Texas feels "cheated" out of a shot at the NC game. The Buckeyes have to prove to themselves and the country that they can play with anyone. They have the talent, they just need to perform.

I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin, you know what I'm sayin!

Wow...:"Not betting on wins, but these should be some really interesting games..."

going out on a limb there.

I love the fact that people are screaming about me not picking a Big 10 team to win and picking all the Florida teams to win...and yet not a single other person has posted their picks....

A friendly BT football bowl competition...pick the games... person with the most wins is named BTBSC Champion for a year.

My picks are on the record.

I agree totally with your assesment of this game.  This game interests me for the exact reasons you pointed out.

For me it comes down to McCoy vs your Froshman (I can't remember his name, not being disrespectful it just escapes me right now).  We know what we're going to see in McCoy...your kid is a wild card, he has looked like a world beater at times and clueless at times.

That would be Mr. Terrell Pryor. If he can just "not lose the game" I think he and Beanie can do enough!
