Subject: RE: Hyannis Half Marathon : Official ThreadI've signed up for the 1/2 as well (my first) and am looking forward to starting this training plan from Runner's World next week - it's a 10 week program. http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-244-258-9369-0,00.html I think it looks great because it is only 3 days a week (intervals, a tempo run, and a long run) and also uses recent 5k or 10k race times to set a goal half mary pace and specific paces for each run. Good luck to everyone with their training! AND - does anyone who's run this in the past have any advice or comments about the race to share??? |
