Pro  4608    Brooklyn, NY |  Subject: Open Water Swimming LocationsI'll be in Silver Spring next weekend and am wondering if there are OWS options nearby, if not in Maryland, in Virginia. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

Maybe I'll just suck it up and swim in the pool. I live about 10 miles north. I used to work in Silver Spring. What brings you to the area? I swam at Sandy point this last weekend with a group of BTers and they are talking about swimming there again this Saturday. Since it will be the 4th I think the traffic will be bad and the area too crowded. |

I love it here, she's trying to get me to move  I swam in a pool today, I didn't want to make them drive an hour for OWS. Maybe another time I'm here... |
