Subject: long ride Friday?

is that the day most people have off this holiday weekend? I want to do a longish ride, about 50, if anyone is interested in an easy ride.

I'm planning the same.  W&OD trail starting at the train station in Herndon, going out to Purcellville and back for about 50mi.  Will probably avg 17-18MPH over the trip.

I'm starting pretty early though - 6am.  Hoping to avoid the heat and trail traffic.

super.  Ernie had the start locale.  about 3 hours worth, and no, not 20 mph, unless you would like to do some hill repeats.

trust me, it's not the engine, it's the bike.
