I can do as early as 6 am but need to start no later than 8 am.  I am hoping to do 2 loops.  Each at 17.5 miles in and out.  On second loop I will not go back in park just continue on the ride.  So I think overall I am planning 34 mile ride.

I also want to take a peak at that run trail.

Harold and I spoke. Looking to ride saturday AM between 6 and 8 AM. The early the better. I want to do the ride and then the run. A second ride would only interest me if after the run.

Hey guys I am up for this. My significant other is on a plane back from MN as I type so I am not 100% sure if she has plans for us or not, but I am thinking I can do this. Have you guys settled on a time yet?

Klowman asked if we could start at 7-7:15AM. I am ok with that. That would make 4 of us so far.

OK, we have 4 of us that we know of. I am going to park near the playground as it is shaded and will keep the truck cool if it gets hot.

Was planning on riding it this weekend also. Has the park been opening the gates before 8?

Works for me. The Wake Co. site says it opens at 8 AM. If it is not open I am good to park outside.

Harold, Darren, et al.:

I checked the map for the run course and think we have it mostly right now. The only thing we did wrong was the end. When we come out of the woods we should have ran on the road back to the side we entered on all the way to near where we parked and then parallel to the water (along where we walked from the bathroom building toward the playground). That should have been the right milage as well.
