Subject: RE: Anyone use a shoe horn in transition? Is this 1960? I am not young by any means, 33, but not old and I haven't seen a shoe horn since I was lil. My best suggestion would be to practice bricks, i.e. go for a bike, I don't care how far, then hop off your bike, practice your transition and start your run as soon as possible, preferable less than 2-4 mins. Look at your local running store or tri shop for some elastic quick laces like Yanks. This will help you figure out how tough it is to slide your shoes on when your feet at swollen and you are tired. It isn't tough, just practice. |
