Subject: RE: What's your favorite iPhone App? I like a lot of the ones already mentioned (and am waiting with bated breath for the BT app/mobile site). A few more: I think somebody said Pandora, but if they didn't, they should have. White pages - use this all the time. The Weather channel - prefer it to the default weather, especially since you can have multiple locations in your favorites. Maps. iMapMyride - don't use it often, but it is nice. I'd rather use the BT route creator function. RunKeeper - same deal. It's nice if I'm running someplace I'm not familiar. Yelp - good for finding restaurants while traveling. Around Me - also great when traveling. Gives you nearest locations and easy directions to common things you might want to find. Grocery IQ - decent grocery list keeper. Ebay/Paypal/Craigsphone Ereader - good electronic reader with access to several sites for getting books (either for free via gutenberg project or for purchased books). Ocarina - paid for this one... the kids love it. It's basically an instrument you can play by blowing gently at the phone's mouthpiece and placing your fingers on the touchpad. Pretty cool. WootWatch - for checking in on woot.com's daily deals. Sherwin Williams Paint finder - I've been using this lately. You can take a picture of something, pull a color out of it, and find a matching palette. Pretty cool. |
