Hi Everyone,

Yep... I'm new...well at least to you. At forty four I don’t feel new.

Before: US Marine, big wall rock climber, live life in the fast lane, communally cross pollinated punk rocker.

Now: Husband, dad and software developer.

Next: Contra-Dancing unchubby-hubby with the six pack abs. Mr. Cool to my sons. And The Finisher to my, as yet to be known, Tri-Friends.

Welcome to the site!! C'mon in, settle in and make yourself at home! There's tons of stuff here to more than keep you from doing any real work during the day. (or at least that's MY problem with this site!!!)

My first tri should be over around 10am or so.  A beer still sounds good!

Thanks everyone. I'm livin, workin' Trin' in western Mass. The contra-capital and the earthy crunchy center of the Universe. I'll be competing at the Internationl Level in the http://www.greenfield-triathlon.com/ The race is Aug 7. I have a long way to go. This is actually the first day of the second week of training. The only positive thing I can say about last week is that I actually got out there and did it. I was slow, my playing cards fell off my bike and I almost drowned in the kiddy pool

That's why the swim's first!  Welcome to the site, pull up a mug, and let 'er rip.  Good luck going for it in August...

Hey, if you're in Western Mass, might be interested in some Bike Training in the hills near Lake Placid?  Several folks are running IMLP, and the sane ones of us are going to root them on, but take advantage of the hills around LP while we're there.  Keep an eye out in the Group Training forum.....and again, good luck.
