Ride Description
We are doing the Roswell Ride on Tuesday 6pm leaving from the Roswell Area Park upper parking lot.  Starting at Roswell Area Park we ride through Historic Downtown Roswell.  We then take a few good hills followed by a ride down Riverside along the Chattahoochee, with alot of good hills along the way back to the finish.  See the map below for the full route and elevation profile.

A & B Group
We usually break into an A and a B group.  I lead the B group and the A group is led by whatever fast people show up.  The A group is not no drop.  If you get dropped by the A group and don't know the route, stop, consider yourself in the B group, and we will be along shortly...  Lately the A group has been doing a longer route of 25-30 miles.

Don't forget your running shoes and Taco Mac Passport!
We do a short 1.5 - 3 mile run around RAP after the ride, before heading up to Taco Mac for some well earned refreshment. We usually arrive at Taco Mac around 8:15pm and it's located at 685 Crossville Rd in Roswell, GA.

Weather Guideline
It's currently forecasted to be Mostly Sunny and 87 degrees which should make for some HOT riding weather.  If you are training for a Hot weather race, now is your chance...

No Drop
The B group is a
No Drop ride in case any of you want to ride but are not sure of yourself.

Active Recovery
Everyone is still in recovery mode from some awesome efforts at the Chattanooga Waterfront Tri or the Roswell Hospitality Hundred this weekend.
Please join us for relaxed ride in the B group on Tuesday...

Hope to see you there!
Justin

Karen, when you say C, does that mean you will keep your avg speed down to 22 or 23 mph.  =)

Ha, funny guy!  I think you're confusing me with Cat.  She's crazy fast (on an easy day)!

Looks like I'm on the trainer today.  Job schedule is whacked with some field work.

I was hoping to catch up with Lisa and Karen to get their Waterfront stories, too.  Darnit!

I'll be there. Raring to ride, especially since when my alarm for the HH400 ride went off Sunday morning I rolled over, cut it off and went back to sleep. I know, I know - big wuss!

cindi - 2009-07-14 11:51 AM I'll be there. Raring to ride, especially since when my alarm for the HH400 ride went off Sunday morning I rolled over, cut it off and went back to sleep. I know, I know - big wuss!

Cindi,
I can relate.  I could either have gotten up at 4am and gone to Chattanooga and did the tri I had paid for, but not trained for.  My other choice was to get up at 5am and do the HH in Roswell.
I decided on the HH and carefully set my alarm to 4:55 to allow for one snooze and triple checked the am/pm indicator light.  After all my time spent preparing and checking the alarm, I failed to turn it on and woke up at 6:15am!  I think it may have been subconscious sabotage, since I was not really ready for either event...  Sounds like the Hospitality Highway was a challenging, hilly event and next year I am going to have my triple road bike packed in the car, instead of my tri bike.  Maybe they won't plan the HH on the same day as Chattanooga in 2010.

See everybody at the ride,
Justin
