Found out last week my instructor expects 100 classes by February if I want to test for 4th degree on schedule. No way I can get that in AND do all the training I need for SOMA. So, looks like my training volume is going to drop, and I'll probably just do sprints for a while

That's ok on a couple counts though, I wasn't totally enjoying the hours needed anyway. Still kind of grates. To steal a phrase from Tanya, Grrrrr....

You could always do the relay.

Maybe you could incorporate tri training into those classes? I know I'd pay to see it

Hmm - if each class is 1 hour and you teach only 10 classes per day I think you can be done in a week and 1/2.  Plenty of time for training for Soma still!

Heh. No, I have to TAKE 100 classes by Feb. Avg of 4 a week.

That's an idea about the relay though, I hadn't thought about that. Hrmmm......

Funny that the person with the balls to say it was a GIRL!

I mean, it's not like you crashed on your bike and had to have your jaw wired shut

ETA: What discipline is the BB in? Good luck with your testing!

No, but if I keep sassing the wife I may need the jaw wired shut anyway.

ATA (American Tae Kwon Do Assn) is what I'm getting this belt in. It's also the first belt where testing at a National event is mandatory, so I'll be facing a panel of 9 Masters (6th degree) and up. I had a midterm at Nationals last year and passed it fairly well, so hopefully I can repeat it again this year.
